With innovative solutions concerning cost planning, tendering, allocating, accounting and cost management, BECHMANN has been supporting its clients in the construction industry for over 40 years. BECHMANN offers tendering and planning software that is modular in design, easy to use and to the highest technical standard. Based on own experiences in planning and construction management, BECHMANN’s solutions are always practice-oriented and allows for the software to continuously develop.
The over 6000 clients consisting of architects, engineers and specialist planners from all over Germany calculate, tender, assign, charge and monitor construction services. The customer service occurs over a network of employees and distributors. With its users, BECHMANN is able to build a productive and mutually advantageous network through which individualized customer developments, for instance, can be integrated as modules into the control software.

BECHMANN’s new image brochure was preceded by a thorough brand strategy and positioning process. A brand evaluation provided important insights concerning key strengths, competencies, potentials and expectations, both internally and externally. A vision was then developed on the basis of these valuable insights, which not only formulates BECHMANN’s future, but demonstrates WHY customers should opt for their products in the future.

The concept of saving time, which is made possible through the solutions BECHMANN offers its users, established itself as a relevant factor in its positioning. Through customer-centric processes and the user-friendly solutions, less time is spent on tedious obligatory work concerning tenders, allocation and accounting, as well as BIM. Thus, giving engineers and architect-offices more time for core business tasks.
Making digital construction more efficient

The new image brochure is the first step in the right direction. The image brochure addresses the topic of time as the decisive factor in the positioning of the company. It builds on BECHMANN’s vision, true values, and the new positioning on a multitude of levels.
BECHMANN’s logo is prominently displayed on the cover. Its individual segments as a cyclical element symbolizes a kind of clock face. Below the title “New Age – more efficiency with BECHMANN’s solutions”, the theme of saving time is portrayed in a multitude of ways. In addition to the textual level, statistics, stowage figures and imagery are prominent features.
Every double page is dedicated to a different facet of time saving, which comes to light through the use of BECHMANN’s products. Curiosity is generated through the use of numbers in the headlines, representing hours, minutes and seconds. At first glance, these figures, which originate from statistical analyses, have nothing to do with a software corporation. Only when looking closer one can derive the connection each of them has with the topic at hand.

Even the imagery used in the image brochure conveys the concept of time, albeit in a new and more emotional way. The focus is placed on the employees in their respective working environments. Personal and intimate imagery emphasizes the company’s values: Customer-oriented and reliable. The idea of time portrayed in different states of matter are highlighted in the pictures – moments of rest, movement and internal contentment.
The new image brochure is the first lighthouse project that was created based on BECHMANN’s new positioning. The next, the launch of the new website, will follow shortly.
